CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Salvation Army will soon begin taking holiday assistance applications.
The Salvation Army offers two programs – Treasures for Children (toy assistance) and then holiday food assistance.
Applications will be accepted on the following dates and times at the Salvation Army, located at 119 Byers St., Clearfield.
- 6, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- 7, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- 8, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- 9, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- 11, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The Salvation Army’s staff members are providing several dates and times to take applications.
It’s in order to accommodate various schedules because staff members do ask that you sign up in person and bring the following:
- a Photo ID with your currant address or proof of address
- Social security or medical cards for everyone in your household to prove they are your children or in your custody and to prove age
- Proof of all income
The Salvation Army gives toys for children who are up to 12 years old. You should only apply at one social service agency or church for holiday assistance.
