CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Historical Society is planning its 13th annual apple cider outing and open house at the society’s Bloody Knox Civil War Log Cabin.
The event will be held Sunday, Oct. 8 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The egg toss will be at 2 p.m.
You can come to help and make cider, rope, butter and corn meal. Also, you can watch demonstrations on spinning yarn, making corn brooms, blacksmithing and see a Civil War medical display.
There will be kid’s games and free samples, organizers say.
This year’s event is sponsored by Northwest Bank. Presenting a check is C. Eric Johnson of Northwest Bank to CCHS board members Scott Kolesar and Bob Eshelman.
