State police at Clearfield
- State police conducted impaired driving enforcement Saturday and Sunday on Route 879 in Curwensville Borough. It resulted in three DUI arrests; three DUI contacts; one criminal arrest; seven summary traffic arrests; and 29 warnings for traffic offenses.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sunday at a car wash located on First Street in Penn Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the front gate by prying the padlock on the steel door. Once inside, state police said they attempted to open the coin changer but were unsuccessful. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of scattering rubbish that occurred Sunday in the 300 block of Dike Road in Rush Township. During the incident, a 32-year-old Houtzdale man dumped concrete and rebar without permission. He was subsequently charged through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of stalking that occurred Monday on the Port Matilda Highway in Rush Township. During the incident, a 49-year-old Philipsburg man was allegedly showing up at the victim’s residence and calling her after being told to stop. Charges of stalking and harassment were filed through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct at the Shady Grove Trailer Court.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft of medication. It was referred to the Curwensville Borough police.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm at Puff Super Value. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at Arby’s. Police found the driver had pulled over to sleep.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about a reckless driver who was entering Curwensville on Route 879. According to police, a driver passed another vehicle in a no passing zone. Police searched the area with negative results.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of State and Walnut streets. No injuries were reported to police as a result. Police were assisted at the scene by the Curwensville Rescue Hose & Ladder Co. and Curwensville Ambulance Service.
- Police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred at a Center Street residence. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entrance to the victim’s residence while they weren’t at home, and it’s not clear if anything was taken at this time. Police are continuing their investigation.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred on Phoenix Street.
- Police responded to a reported drug overdose at the Dollar General Store. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the area of North and Thompson streets. According to police, the motorist was later located and information was exchanged.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred on State Street and Spila Road. According to police, a vehicle crossed the double, yellow line and impacted the driver’s side mirror on the victim’s truck, breaking it. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police responded to a verbal domestic situation at a Trail’s End address. Both parties were intoxicated, according to police, and one left in order to defuse the situation.
- Police located drug paraphernalia near the Oak Hill Cemetery.
