State police at Philipsburg

  • On July 9 state police identified John E. Washington, 47, of Bellefonte as being wanted in Missouri. He was arrested and lodged in the Centre County Jail.
  • State police reported a DUI incident that occurred Tuesday on Route 322 eastbound at the Port Matilda exit in Worth Township. According to state police, a 53-year-old Kittanning man was stopped for a traffic violation. He was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are currently pending official blood test results.
  • State police reported on a drug violation that occurred July 14 along Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. According to state police, a 33-year-old Philipsburg man was identified as a wanted person. He was arrested on warrants and during a search, he was allegedly found with a small amount of marijuana in his pocket. Charges will be filed through the district court.

State police at Ridgway

  • State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred July 10 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in St. Marys. During the incident, a 30-year-old Weedville woman allegedly removed $114.95 worth of merchandise without paying for it. State police are continuing their investigation and charges will be filed accordingly through the district court.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about a possible wanted person on Old Town Road in the area of the Skate Station.
  • Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at The Salvation Army on Byers Street.
  • Police received a report about a vehicle fire on River Road.
  • Police received a report about a civil issue at Edgewood. Upon arrival, police found it was an incident of harassment and disorderly conduct involving a domestic dispute.
  • Police received a report about a traffic hazard with the light on Fulton Street.
  • Police received a report about damage to attended property on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway.
  • Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred along Industrial Park Road.
  • Police received a noise complaint that occurred at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
  • Police served multiple warrants on a Clearfield male who was located by Clearfield Borough police.
