Dear Editor:

The Clearfield County Safe Kids Coalition would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Bicycle Rodeo at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds on June 14 a success.

Thanks to the generous support of numerous individuals and businesses, we reached more than 30 local youth by providing safe bicycle handling skills, bicycle inspections, helmets and several other items of information.

We would like to say thank you to Pat Malloy and Jim’s Sport Center, Police Chief McGinnis and the Clearfield Borough police, Lisa Coval and Shaw Public Library, Pam Bernhoff and Tammy Young of the Clearfield Cycle Club, Dave Toohey and Brandon Mancusco of PennDOT,  Renee Johnstonbaugh of AmeriHealth, Michelle Dutrow of West Branch School District, Wal-Mart Distribution Center of Woodland, the Clearfield County Fair & Park Board, Cen-Clear Child Services, American Trauma Society – PA Division, Moshannon Valley School District, Judy and Ted Patterson, Jana Davidson, Korinn Clarkson and Emily Warrick.

Also, we want to give a special thanks to all the children and families that came out to support our event. We set out with the goal of keeping children in our community safer, healthier and happier this summer.

Sincerely,

Jana Davidson
