The second-ever group motorcycle ride, hosted by the Sons of God Motorcycle Club Ministries, Clearfield Chapter, will be held July 8 to support the Crossroad Youth Center.

The center is located at 126 N. Third St., Clearfield. It reaches out to area youth through relationships about Jesus the Messiah.

The center is open from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Friday nights and serves free dinners to seventh through 12th grade students.

Sign-up will be at the Lanse Evangelical Free Church, 255 Cotohise Rd., Lanse. The final stop will be at the Crossroad Youth Center, Clearfield.

Entry fees are $20 per driver and $10 per rider. The $20 entrants will receive a commemorative group ride T-shirt.

Riders will depart at around 12 p.m. from the church. They are expected to arrive at the youth center at 3 p.m., where refreshments will be available.

Organizers are looking for sponsors for the event, and $100 sponsors will receive a T-shirt with their name on it.

Checks should be written out to “Sons of God Clearfield.” They can be sent to Dan Kerlin, 638 Harrison Rd., Bellefonte, PA 16823.

For questions or more information, please call Kerlin at 814-577-9043 or Rick Thompson at 814-265-0005.
