State police at Clearfield
- Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C members, will conduct a sobriety checkpoint within Clearfield County during the month of July. It will take place on highways with high incidence of alcohol-related crashes.
- State police received a report about an incident of indecent assault that occurred June 20 on High Street in Woodland. During the incident, the victim entered a 53-year-old man’s residence and was allegedly forced to engage in unwanted sexual contact. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of public intoxication that occurred Sunday on Utahville Road in Beccaria Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Coalport man, Scott A. Jenkins, was found unconscious in the eastbound lane of Utahville Road. When he woke up, he was allegedly found to be under the influence. He was transported by ambulance to UPMC Altoona. He was cited for the incident through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Sunday on Larkeytown Road in Sandy Township. According to state police, a 30-year-old Brockway man was found sleeping in the driver’s seat with a vehicle running and in gear at the intersection of Larkeytown and Slab Run roads. Upon waking him, he was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and with two open Bud Light cans in the front cup holders. State police said when the man was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois, he refused blood testing. When he tried to run at the hospital, he was subdued and taken to the DuBois barracks. State police will file charges through the district court.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about a protection from abuse violation June 21 in Philipsburg Borough. However, upon investigation, state police determined that a violation hadn’t occurred.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sunday on East Spruce Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly scratched the victim’s vehicle with an unknown blunt object. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- On Saturday state police reported that a brown wallet was found on state Route 948 in Fox Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to Lytle Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that the vehicle was stuck in a ditch. The vehicle was removed and there we no injuries.
- Police responded to the area to Meyers Circle for a welfare check. It was discovered that an individual accidentally dialed 911.
- Police received a report of a drug violation at Walmart Supercenter. Unknown individuals were seen injecting an unknown substance into themselves. The individuals were gone upon police arrival.
- Police responded to a local business on Race Street for found drugs. The drugs were turned over to police.
- Police responded to the area of the Clearfield-Curwensville highway for a psychological emergency. The individual was located and transported to the hospital.
- Police were called for a possible DUI.
- Police received a report of a possible cardiac arrest on Little Clearfield Creek Road.
- Police received a report of suspicious vehicle at the Hyde Unimart.
- Police received a report of a possible DUI at the Rainbow Car Wash in Hyde.
- Police received a report of a burglary and possible sexual assault on Mt. Joy Road. The incident was unfounded.
- Police observed three intoxicated males while out on patrol on West Front Street after one male ran out into the roadway. A citation for public drunkenness will be issued.
- Police observed a suspicious vehicle at the Kwik Fill on Old Town Road.
- Police received a report of a psychological problem with an elderly male.
- Police received a report of a two vehicle accident on South Second Street.
- Police received a report of damage to several vehicles on Park Avenue.
- Police conducted a vehicle stop along SR 879 that resulted in a warrant service.
