William Boyd Peters, 61, of Woodland went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home.
He was born Feb. 29, 1956 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Boyd and Althea Peters.
Mr. Peters had been employed by Butler Trucking since 1975. He loved farming and antique tractors but especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
He was a member of Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland.
He is survived by his daughter, Maridawn Shirey and her husband, Ryan of Woodland; two granddaughters, Mattie and Raylee Shirey; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St., Clearfield, or the Lake Street United Methodist Church, 115 Lake St., Woodland.
