CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) will hold its fifth annual Bloom and Berry Bash June 17 in downtown Clearfield.
The family-friendly festival will offer food, vendors and live entertainment. It will kick-off at 10 a.m. with the opening of vendors along Market, Third and Locust streets.
More than 80 talented artisans will feature work that ranges from ceramics, fiber, wood, leather and metalwork to jewelry, glass, photography and mixed-media art pieces.
Live entertainment will be provided by Guiternia students from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Courthouse plaza.
The CRC will host a Rubber Duck Derby at 3 p.m. Each rubber duck will race its way in the pond at the Bloom & Berry Bash while carrying a unique number corresponding to the purchased tickets.
Each ticket costs $5 and will earn the holder one duck in the race. The ducks are anxiously awaiting the chance to be chosen from the pond.
The ducks will give their ticket holders a chance at a first place prize of $300; a second place prize of $150; and a third place prize of $50.
Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Only 300 tickets will be sold. A limited amount of souvenir rubber ducks will be given to the children at the duck pond.
