DuBois Central Catholic Receives Palumbo Grant

DUBOIS – DuBois Central Catholic is the recipient of a grant from the A.J. and Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust in the amount of $80,000. 

Joseph Palumbo presented the check to Michael Armanini and other school staff involved in securing the grant, under the leadership of Sharon Varischetti, director of advancement. 

The grant money is earmarked for technology and collaborative learning centers, part of DCC’s Classrooms of the Future Initiative. 

Taking part in the presentation were (from left) William Champlin; Gretchen Caruso; Robert Ordiway, board of trustees; Karen Pfingstler, board of trustees; Belinda Vasbinder; and Angela Edwards. 

Missing from the photo are Tara Kramer and Sharon Varischetti. 

This grant assures DCC is committed to Keeping Faith with the Future, cites Varischetti.
