CURWENSVILLE – The Clearfield Business and Professional Women’s Club will host its third annual Sunglasses, Sandals and Sips event at the Starr Winery in Curwensville on June 4 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Organizers say each year this event “gets bigger and better with various vendors and special programs.” This year live music will be presented by Brandon Giuffre and Touch of Gray.
According to organizers, there will be a fashion show for all the ladies. Something new this year will be a drum circle to try for health and well-being presented by Shirley Bezilla. A self-defense presentation is being planned, as well.
Hors d’ oeuvres, ice tea and water will be available for the afternoon, along with wine tasting. Mr. Starr will also conduct tours of the winery for those who are interested.
Organizers say this is a “fun-filled afternoon for the ladies to get away from it all to enjoy and relax.” Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
There is plenty of parking and please bring a lawn chair for comfort, although chairs will be available.
