CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of John H. Sette to vice president/information technology.
In this position, Sette oversees all technological functions. This encompasses employee staff support to strategic initiatives in order to build a solid foundation of technology and to support bank expansion and growth across all four divisions of CNB Bank.
He is responsible for information technology (IT) policies and procedures, including information security, IT audit and cyber security assessments. Sette and his team ensure that bank services are online, safe and available for customer use with minimal to no downtime.
Sette has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including positions from help desk/desktop support technician to senior director of IT infrastructure. He joined CNB in 2015 and is a participant of CNB’s Leadership Institute.
“John has led numerous strategic initiatives and projects, which have improved our network infrastructure,” stated Bower.
“His department leadership and the networks that he has developed across the entire company have had a direct positive impact on our employees’ and customers’ experience.”
Sette is a 1987 graduate of Downingtown High School and 1990 graduate of Central Penn College, where he received his degree in Information Systems. He and his wife, Michelle, reside in Bellefonte with their two children, Johnna and Dillon.
