TIMBLIN BOROUGH – An Amish teen was accidentally shot Saturday in Timblin Borough, reported state police at Punxsutawney.
According to state police, the 14-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his left eye. It occurred as a result of an accidental discharge of a .22-caliber revolver.
State police said when the incident occurred, the gun was in the hands of the teen’s younger brother.
State police said that the teen was flown from the scene to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He’s currently in stable condition in the intensive care unit.
