CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners appointed William Lawhead to the county’s recreation and tourism authority on Tuesday.
According to previously published GANT News reports, Mark B. McCracken and Tony Scotto, who were commissioner members on the board, resigned their seats.
The CCRTA’S amended articles for the board reduced the number of seats from 12 to nine, and now eight of the nine seats are filled.
Commissioners John A. Sobel and McCracken said the commissioners have had other people express interest in the last vacant board seat.
