State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about an incident of terroristic threats that occurred Tuesday on McDivitt Road in Ferguson Township. During the incident, Andrew J. Blake, 23, of Curwensville allegedly pointed a shotgun at two victims while threatening to “blow their brains out.” He was placed under arrest for terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

State police at Philipsburg

  • State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Dec. 16 on Logan Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly took the victim’s daughter’s ADHD medication to trade it for drugs. With help from the family, the man was taken to receive help with an ongoing issue.

Clearfield Borough

  • Police were requested to check the welfare of an Ogden Avenue resident. Upon arrival police found the male inside and he was OK.
  • Police responded to East Market Street for an alleged assault. As a result of the incident, police said two males were arrested on assault and drug possession charges.
  • Police responded to North Second Street and assisted a resident with gaining entry into her apartment.
  • Police responded to East Cherry Street for a report about suspicious activity. Upon arrival police found workers with flashlights.
  • Police responded for a report about a tractor-trailer possibly pulling wires down on East Seventh Street. Upon arrival police neither located the truck nor any wires that had been pulled down.
  • Police responded to a reported 911 hang-up on Bigler Avenue. Police located the caller and determined that everything was OK.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about stolen property from a person staying at a local motel along Route 879.
  • Police received a report about a phone scam in the area of Parkview Drive.
  • Police assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
  • Police responded to check the welfare of a female who was taken to the hospital for treatment.
  • Police assisted emergency personnel with a fall patient on Park Avenue Extension.
  • Police received a report about a domestic dispute on Valley View Drive. It was handled by police at the scene.
