fall-2016-group-picCLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) will present a Christmas Concert Sunday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at West Side United Methodist Church, located at 317 Nichols St. in Clearfield.

The concert will start with a performance by the High Voltage Youth Show Choir, singing and dancing to festive favorites.  The concert will continue with the Clearfield Choral Society, a vocal group made up of 35 members.

They will sing a mix of holiday classics and newer material.

Both groups have been rehearsing at CAST for weeks in preparation for the concert.

Each group has represented CAST and the local community by performing for area nursing homes, clubs and organizations, spreading Holiday Cheer and their love of music.

Admission to the concert is free.  Canned goods, non-perishable items and monetary donations will be accepted for the Clearfield Food Bank.

The Clearfield Choral Society is under the direction of Mason Strouse, with Gary Wilsoncroft as accompanist and Catherine Mandell as vocal coach.  High Voltage is under the direction of Rachel Duke.

For more information, visit www.ClearfieldArts.org, call 814-765-4474 or e-mail ClearfieldArts@gmail.com.  The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. can also be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

CAST is a non-profit arts center located at 112 E. Locust St. in downtown Clearfield.
