This brings its total to 98.6 percent of its $226,000 community campaign goal for 2016-17.  United Way volunteers hope people will continue to give to the campaign.

Donations can be mailed to Clearfield Area United Way, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.

Also, people can log onto the United Way’s Web site at clearfieldareaunitedway.org and give through PayPal.

Nearly 80 volunteers representing area communities help each year to collect donations for United Way.

In turn, the United Way helps 24 local member agencies located throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County.
