CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area School District, in partnership with Clearfield Jefferson Suicide Prevention Team, will present, Marc Mero, former WWE wrestling champion and author of “How to be the Happiest Person on the Planet.”

Mero will speak at 7 p.m. Feb. 6, 2017 in the school’s auditorium. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

Mero reached the pinnacle of sports-entertainment success and then lost it all. But in the process, he discovered what’s most important in life. Everyone faces adversity.

He believes: “It’s not how many times you get knocked down. It’s how many times you get back up. You can do anything you set your mind to!”

Mero shares his captivating journey with audiences worldwide and inspires people to examine their life choices.

During his events, listeners feel a greater sense of appreciation toward their relationships and the “gift of time,” and are empowered to make a difference in their personal life, school, career and community.

As the founder of the non-profit organization, Champion of Choices, Mero dedicates his life to helping others be the “Champion” they’re destined to be. He feels: “The time is now! Get ready to be inspired!”
