YOUNG TOWNSHIP – Punxsutawney-based state police have identified the man in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 23 at Pasquale’s Restaurant, located along Route 119, in Young Township, Jefferson County.
According to state police, around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 23, a Caucasian male entered Pasquale’s Restaurant and related that he worked for “the police.”
He asked for a woman by name who did not work at the restaurant, and he was able to retrieve information on current employees, state police say.
State police now say the known man has been found to be legitimately affiliated with the local police department and is working on a drug awareness program with them.
State Police remind the public to continue to be cautious of anyone trying to obtain personal information.
