Obituary Notice: Pauline S. Kurtz

Pauline S. Kurtz, 84, of Penfield died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at Christ King Manor.

Born Oct. 5, 1932 in Tyler, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Steven and Anna (Kosin) Seduski.

On Nov. 24, 1961, she married Joseph Kurtz.  He survives and lives in Penfield.

She retired from Stackpole Carbon Company in St. Mary’s after 38 years of service.  After retirement, she worked at Riverside in DuBois for seven years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force.

She is survived by a brother, Edward Seduski and his wife, Laura of Penfield; two sisters, Helen Cian and her husband, Louie of Penfield and Dorothy Van Horn and her husband, Laverne of DuBois; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Seduski.

There will be no public visitation.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force with Fr. William Sutherland as celebrant

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Force.

Memorials may be paced with St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 17735 Bennetts Valley Hwy., Force, PA 15841.

The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
