Vincent T. ‘Vinnie’ Libreatori Jr., 72, of Clearfield died Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Ridgeview Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

He was born May 4, 1944, a son of the late Vincent T. and Josephine K. (Fama) Libreatori.

He retired from Sears, Clearfield, after 25 years of employment as the auto manager.  He had also worked for EM Brown Inc.

He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. He was a 1962 graduate of Clearfield High School and he attended Penn State DuBois.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He enjoyed auctions, antique cars and attending car shows with his father and son.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann ‘Penny’ Libreatori; a son, Vincent ‘Tom’ Libreatori III of Clearfield; a special granddaughter, Onyx Libreatori; a sister, Vicki Leitzinger and her husband, Philip of Homosassa, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Father John L. Miller as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

There will be no public visitation.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield, or to the American Cancer Society 26 S. Second St. Clearfield.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
