CLEARFIELD – The Salvation Army of Clearfield will host a “Tools 4 School” community event. It will be held at the Salvation Army from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Aug. 11.

It will include an array of family fun; community agency tables (each with a free school supply); free hot dogs, cotton candy and other food; face painting and haircuts; and “Touch a Truck.”

It is a free community event for all school-aged children. To attend, all that is required is a pre-registration.

You must be pre-registered to receive a backpack and supplies. This is a family event that the kids can have fun and parents/guardians can also learn about the services available in the community.

To register, call or come in to the Salvation Army before July 20.
