
CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center’s Practical Nursing students participated in the 28th annual Penn Highlands Clearfield Auxiliary Children’s Health Fair on May 3.
Approximately 250 fourth-grade students from area schools attended the fair. The CCCTC Practical Nursing students helped plan and execute educational and health-related stations for small group learning activities.
Prior to the event, the Practical Nursing students received donations for a girl’s and boy’s bike, bike helmet and water bottle for a drawing from all of the participants.

Donations were received from Wal-Mart in Clearfield, Health South in Pleasant Gap, B&B Major Auto Repair in Houtzdale, Pipe and Pistol Restaurant in Houtzdale and Ed Cambria in Clearfield.
The winner of the boy’s bike was Terry Spencer from Clearfield Elementary, winner of the girl’s bike was Anna Ryan from St. Francis School, winner of the bike helmet was David Price from Clearfield Elementary School and the winner of the water bottle was Sarah Huegler from St. Francis School.

The CCCTC Practical Nursing students would like to thank Penn Highlands Clearfield Auxiliary, Wal-Mart, Health South, B&B Major Auto Repair, Pipe and Pistol Restaurant, Ed Cambria and all of the area school districts that participated to make this year’s Children’s Health Fair a success.
