CLEARFIELD – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday on Route 879 in Lawrence Township.
According to township police, the pedestrian was walking east just inside the travel lane. The pedestrian was also wearing dark clothing, police said.
The operator of a vehicle was traveling east on Route 879 and didn’t see the pedestrian. The vehicle struck the pedestrian, whose name isn’t being released at this time, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
