Clearfield JV Football Team Dropped to 1-1 by Central

HYDE — The Clearfield Area High School Junior Varsity football team had their first home game of the season on Monday night and were beaten by the Central Dragons 26-7.

Ty Bender scored a late touchdown and Jake Sorbera added the extra point for Clearfield to avoid the shut out.

Sorbera also added an interception, while Bender and Graham Spencer had fumble recoveries fro the Bison ‘D’.
Clearfield (1-1) will travel to Huntingdon to face the Bearcats next Monday.

Individual Stats

Passing:
Spencer Graham 0-4 int, Steven Sawyer 1-3 15 yds int

Receiving: Spencer Graham 1-15 yds

Rushing: Ty Bender 17-82 TD, Steven Sawyer 11-76, Spencer Graham 7-28
