CLEARFIELD – Applications are now being accepted for the Clearfield County Charitable Foundation’s 2015 grant cycle for Clearfield County non-profit organizations.
Last year a total of $9,500 was distributed between 14 different area organizations.
To be eligible for a grant award, applying agencies/organizations must provide services in local communities and be located within Clearfield County. The deadline for submission of grant applications is Nov. 6. Awards will be announced by January of 2016.
Detailed grant application guidelines and requirements are outlined in the grant application packet, which is available to all qualifying agencies/organizations, by writing to the CCCF, P.O. Box 1442 Clearfield PA 16830, via email at cccfinfo@yahoo.com or by calling 814-592-7331.
Grant application guidelines and forms may also be downloaded from the foundation’s Web site: www.clearfieldcharitablefoundation.org. In addition applications can be obtained by calling the Trust Department of Clearfield Bank & Trust Company at 814-765-7682.
Money for the grants comes from the CCCF’s Community Fund, an endowment established for the specific purpose of making grants to worthwhile projects benefiting Clearfield County communities. The fund was established and continues to grow from contributions received from individuals, organizations and businesses.
Contributions to the Community Fund or any of the foundation’s endowment funds may be made at the website through Paypal or can be mailed to: P.O. Box 1442, Clearfield PA 16830.
Established in 2004, the Clearfield County Charitable Foundation is one of more than 300 community foundations in the United States, and its purpose is to enhance the quality of life in Clearfield County through the support of services that promote health, education, the arts, history, culture, conservation and the environment.
