(Update 9:45 a.m.) One lane is now open between the Woodland/123 interchange and the Clearfield/120 interchange on I-80 Westbound. The green detour, using Routes 970, 322, and 879, has been lifted. PennDOT expects to have both lanes open by noon today.

Clearfield – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advises drivers that a section of Interstate 80 westbound in Clearfield County is closed at this time due to a multi-vehicle crash.

I-80 Westbound between the Woodland/123 interchange and the Clearfield/120 interchange is closed. The green detour is in effect, using Routes 970, 322, and 879. PennDOT expects to re-open the roadway by noon today.

PennDOT advises drivers to be prepared for stopped or slowed traffic, along with travel delays. Message boards are alerting drivers to the westbound closure. I-80 motorists can also access up-to-date closure and detour information on the Highway Advisory Radio System (HARS) at 1640 on the AM dial.
