DUBOIS – Crews responded to a structure fire at 10:17 a.m. Monday at the abandoned Gibbys Warehouse building located at 17 N. Franklin St. in DuBois.
Aerial units from Reynoldsville Station 6, Sandy Township Station 36 and Brockway Station 1 were called to assist the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department. Additional units from Oklahoma Station 38 and Reynoldsville Station 6 were called to the scene.
Medic 43 personnel provided medical support and the American Red Cross assisted due to the inclement temperatures, stated fire officials.
Genesee & Wyoming Railroad personnel responded due to the closure of the adjacent railroad tracks. Also, the entire section of downtown DuBois was closed to traffic while fire crews supplied water to the scene, according to fire officials.
