
CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion and appointment of James C. Davidson to the position of assistant vice president of private banking.
Davidson began his career with CNB in 2003 as a management trainee. He has since held the positions of community office manager, mortgage lending officer, mortgage underwriter and banking officer.
In his new position, Davidson will lead CNB’s newly created private banking division by offering a unique blend of specialized products and customized services tailored to meet the individual financial goals and circumstances of his clients.
Overall, the private banking division will offer enhanced customization and personal service to CNB’s exclusive clientele. Davidson will conduct business primarily out of the bank’s main office located at 31 S. Second St., in Clearfield.
“We are excited to have Jim transition into this new role and spearhead our new private banking division,” Bower explained. “Our exclusive banking customers often have unique requirements that require innovative solutions. Jim has the expertise to quickly make those critical decisions and execute complex transactions that address those needs.”
A native of Clearfield, Davidson graduated from Central Christian High School in 1998. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance and real estate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
Davidson currently resides in Clearfield with his wife, Jana, and two daughters, Lauren and Lily. He is currently a member of the Lawrence Township Recreational Park Board and a past member of the Clearfield Borough Zoning Board. He also enjoys volunteering at St. Francis School and supporting the Clearfield County 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock sales.
