State police at DuBois

  • On Tuesday, unknown individuals allegedly engaged in electronic communication via Twitter and distributed inappropriate pictures to a 14-year-old Reynoldsville girl.

State police at Ridgway

  • A hit-and-run accident occurred Tuesday on Scotland Street east of Swede Street in Fox Township. Further, a Honda Civic was legally parked when another vehicle, possibly a Jeep, was traveling north. The operator, state police said, left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck the left rear of the Civic. Afterward, the operator fled the scene, leaving the Civic with “functional damage.” Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.

Lawrence Township

  • Police assisted with a disorderly male at Clearfield Penn Highlands.
  • Police received a report about a male who was allegedly panhandling along the Clearfield – Shawville Highway.
  • Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
  • Police received a report about a missing bicycle.
  • Police received a report about a psychological emergency on South Second Street.
  • Police received a report about another alleged incident of harassment by communications.
  • Police received a report about alleged suspicious activity near a business on South Second Street. However, police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
