Stephen J. Kester, 51, of Clearfield died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his home. Born Jan. 11, 1963, he was the son of the late Glenn and Lois (Smith) Kester.
He was married on Feb. 7, 1992 in Clearfield to Mickie V. (Schenek) Kester. She preceded him in death on Jan. 12, 2014.
Mr. Kester was of Christian faith. He was a retired laborer and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a 1981 graduate of the Curwensville High School.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Kester.
He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Cessna and her husband, Bud of DuBois and Deborah Zuhlke and her husband, William of Troy, Ala.; two brothers, Bruce Kester and his wife, Susan of Greensburg and Michael Kester of Curwensville.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Stoneville Cemetery in West Decatur. There will be no public visitation.
