DECATUR TOWNSHIP – A 32-year-old Williamsport man, Nikolay Grinchuk, sustained major injuries in an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday on Beaver Lane west of Coal Run Road in Decatur Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
Grinchuk was traveling eastbound and attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway. He lost control of his ATV, which overturned.
Grinchuk wasn’t wearing a safety helmet and transported to Altoona for treatment of major injuries, state police said.
State police were assisted by Mountain Top and Moshannon Valley emergency medical services and the Osceola Fire Department.
