State police at Clearfield
- A protection from abuse order violation occurred Wednesday on Union Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a 35-year-old Irvona man allegedly returned to the victim’s residence and entered the household. The man’s actions violated an active PFA, which stated he wasn’t permitted at the residence unless there was a temporary child exchange scheduled between specified times. Charges were filed through the district court.
- An incident of scattering rubbish occurred Thursday along Route 2017 in Decatur Township. During the incident, a 55-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly threw rubbish from his vehicle.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime between May 17 and June 4 on Ambrose Lane in Morrisdale. During the incident, a 20-year-old Morrisdale man allegedly took the victim’s credit card and charged several items to it over a two- to three-week period. The man then allegedly discarded the card after using it. The victim told state police that the man wasn’t authorized to use the credit card; charges were subsequently filed through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- An incident of theft occurred Thursday at Willar’s Market along Main Street in Falls Creek Borough. Further, four juveniles allegedly removed items from the Frito Lay hand cart. A person, state police said, observed the theft and chased after the juveniles to a Falls Creek residence. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- An incident of recklessly endangering another person occurred Wednesday at the Chapman Trailer Court in Brady Township. Further, state police were notified of an “out of control” resident who had allegedly rammed the victim’s vehicle and threatened her. The suspect, state police, then fled the scene in his vehicle but was later taken into custody on U.S. Route 322. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- An Act 64 violation occurred Tuesday on Route 28 in Warsaw Township. During the incident, a known male was allegedly stopped for a vehicle code violation and state police observed indicators of criminal activity. A search of the vehicle yielded a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred Thursday in the 100 block of Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim told state police that a 59-year-old Philipsburg woman removed a Kindle Fire HD from her bedroom. It was valued at $400, state police said, adding the incident remains under investigation at this time.

- Police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred at a business in Glen Richey.
- Police received a report about a resident who was allegedly receiving unwanted calls.
- Police received a report about an animal call in the Glen Richey area. A dog, police said, was running loose.
- Police received a report about an automatic fire alarm on Washington Avenue. The alarm was unfounded, police said.
- Police received a report about two individuals who allegedly attempted to cash fraudulent traveler’s checks at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Further, a male and female fled the scene prior to police arrival; the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a disabled/abandoned vehicle on Butler Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged fraud incident that occurred at Good Street residence.
- Police assisted a motorist who was having vehicle problems in the Hyde area.
