RUSH TOWNSHIP – A 56-year-old Ramey man, David A. Boulton, has been charged for allegedly ramming his pick-up truck into another man’s side-by-side vehicle on Saturday on Ho Chi Min Trail in Rush Township.

State police at Philipsburg have charged Boulton with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

The victim had his side-by-side parked on the shoulder of Ho Chi Min Trail with multiple other all-terrain vehicles. Boulton wanted to pass in his truck but was unable to due to the ATVs parked along the trail, state police said.

While people started to move the ATVs, Boulton allegedly became upset and yelled at the victim. The victim yelled back at Boulton, as he got into his side-by-side to move it.

At that point, Boulton allegedly rammed his truck into the passenger’s side of the victim’s side-by-side. The victim was subsequently knocked to the ground; however, he didn’t sustain any physical injuries, state police said.

The victim proceeded to confront Boulton and found he had a 5-year-old boy in the front seat of his truck. The boy, state police said, was not secured in a child safety seat. Boulton fled the scene without providing any person information to the victim.
