Students Inducted into National Technical Honor Society at CCCTC

CLEARFIELD – On May 8, officials at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center proudly inducted 26 new members into the National Technical Honor Society.

To be nominated, students had to meet detailed criteria.  Students had to have a 95 percent attendance rate and a 93 percent or better grade point average within their program at CCCTC.

NTHS AM (1)Students had to have two letters of recommendation and 20 hours of community service.  The students selected exemplify the seven character attributes of the NTHS – Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.

The morning NTHS members are, seated left to right, Austin Hugill – welding, Tiffany Schaffer – health occupations, Delaine Kolesar – health occupations, Samantha Yarger – health occupations, Grace Smith -architectural drafting, Steven Parks – electronics and robotics, and Micaela McQuillen – health occupations.

In the middle from left to right are Kyleigh Price – cosmetology, Breanne Stiver – cosmetology, Kayla Walker – cosmetology, Amber Liegey – health occupations, Samantha Bush – health occupations, Gabrielle Hockenberry – cosmetology, Tanya Bloom-culinary, Aaron White – carpentry and T. Stiles – masonry.
