ST. MARYS – The first meeting of the Elk County Democratic Committee will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Local 502 Union Hall at 1044 Brusselles St. in St. Marys.
All precinct chairpersons are strongly encouraged to attend. Also, if you are interested in serving as a precinct chairperson for the next four-year period, please attend this meeting.
The election for precinct chairpersons in Elk County will be a part of the Primary Election in May, and petition circulation will start before the following meeting. Meetings are open to all citizens who are interested in helping promote and grow the Democratic Party in Elk County.
