CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that a portion of Interstate 80 westbound is closed in Clearfield County due to an accident. The closure is in effect from Exit 120 (Clearfield) to Exit 111 (Penfield).
Traffic is being routed using the Blue Detour. Vehicles will exit I-80 westbound at the 120/Clearfield interchange and follow Route 879 west to Route 322 west/Route 153 north and back to I-80 westbound at the 111/Penfield interchange.
Motorists will be alerted to the incident through the use of the Highway Advisory Radio System and Dynamic Message System signs.
PennDOT expects to re-open the roadway by 4 p.m.
