Darin E. Swanson, 33, of Mineral Springs died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, in Shiloh.
He was born Feb. 27, 1980, in Clearfield, the son of Dennis A. Swanson of Mineral Springs and the late Karen (Shirey) Swanson.
Mr. Swanson was a truck driver. He was affiliated with the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
He’s survived by his father, Dennis and step-mother, Mary Elva Swanson of Mineral Springs; a daughter and son, Angel Swanson and Jesse Swanson of Woodland; a sister, Robin Miller and her husband, Kenneth, a niece, Alicia Miller, and a nephew, Luke Miller, all of Woodland; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Swanson whom died July 11, 1985; a brother, Frederick Swanson; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Shirey; and his paternal grandparents, Martin and Elizabeth Swanson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with the Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Burial will be in the Congress Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
