local-news1_2562ALTOONA – The state Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation has announced the arrest of Leslie T. Brickhouse after executing a search warrant of his residence at 500 Kettle St., Altoona, on Monday.

The search warrant yielded 165 bags of heroin valued at approximately $5,000; a half-pound of marijuana valued at approximately $1,000; approximately 2 ounces of cocaine valued at $5,000; and $863 in U.S. Currency. Brickhouse has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

Brickhouse was arraigned at Blair County Central Booking. He’s currently incarcerated at the Blair County Prison.

The Altoona and Logan Township police departments, a K-9 Unit and the Blair County Drug Task Force officers assisted the AG’s office. The investigation is continuing at this time.

The investigation was assisted by numerous calls to the “Push Out the Pusher” Drug Hotline. “Operation Our Town” also played a key role in financing the investigation and continues to be an important role in the ongoing effort to take back neighborhoods. The “Operation Our Town” K-9 was used after the residence was secured to identify the locations of controlled substances.
