Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • A traffic complaint occurred on Williams Street.
  • A traffic complaint occurred on Industrial Park Road.
  • Police referred an incident to dog law after a neighbor took their dog onto private property.
  • A five-vehicle accident occurred on U.S. Route 322 near Golden Rod. A truck operated by an Ohio male was traveling west when he failed to observe that traffic had stopped ahead of him. He wasn’t able to stop his vehicle and struck another truck operated by a Penfield female, a truck operated by a Frenchville male and then continued traveling and struck a vehicle operated by a Lanse male and another truck operated by a Philipsburg male. One passenger in the last truck was taken to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment.
  • Police checked the welfare of a male who was sitting along U.S. Route 322. Police located the male and learned he was stranded. The male was taken to the men’s shelter for the night.
  • Police responded to a minor accident on Mill Road.
  • Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
  • An incident of retail theft occurred at the Sheetz store in Wolf Run. As a result, a 19-year-old Clearfield female will be charged.
