Obituary Notice: Jay Paul Dorbolo

Jay Paul Dorbolo, 54, of Philipsburg died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.

He was the son of Cecil Little Wolf of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and the late Juanita (Woods) Little Wolf.  He is also survived by his adoptive parents, Raymond and Betty (Arthur) Dorbolo of Everett, WA.

Mr. Dorbolo was a graduate of James H. Groves High School in New Castle, DE and attended Delaware Community College in Georgetown, DE.

In addition to his father and step-parents, he is survived by his former spouse, Marjorie E. Grundy of Philipsburg; a daughter, Astrid S. Dorbolo of Philipsburg; a son, Vathan A. Dorbolo of Philipsburg; a step-son, Michel Vansant and his wife, Rebecca of Rehoboth Beach, DE; a sister, Jan Dorbolo of Everett, WA; and a brother, Jon Dorbolo of Eugene, OR.

Mr. Dorbolo is also survived by five grandchildren, Tayla E. Dorbolo and Jayson C. Grundy-Bordas of Philipsburg; Treyton G. Flegal of Morrisdale; and Carter and Garrett Vansant of Rehoboth Beach, DE.

There will be no public funeral service, and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, PA 16866.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jay’s memory to the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, PA 16866.
