The Elk State Forest has welcomed a new staff member in Pete Zoschg of Emporium.
He’ll be responsible for managing timber resources on the Elk State Forest. He obtained his degree in Forest Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2000.
His work experience includes that as a forest technician and a forester position with the Susquehannock State Forest. He was an arborist with the city and county of Denver and a code enforcement arborist for the city of Greeley, Colo.
Zoschg is looking forward to working in his hometown.
