CLEARFIELD – The cause of an apartment fire is still under investigation after starting at approximately 3:35 p.m. this afternoon at 221 Nichols St. in Clearfield Borough, according to Assistant Fire Chief Justin Worley.
No residents were injured as a result of the fire. In addition, information isn’t yet available so far as the extent of monetary damages, said Worley.
“There’s nothing as of yet for the cause. We’re still conducting an investigation and trying to figure everything out,” he said. “We’re going to put together the pieces of the puzzle and go from there.”
Seven fire departments responded to the scene.
