HUSTON TOWNSHIP – Kelly J. Shaffer, 20, of St. Marys has been accused of setting two wildland fires in May on Nolan Road in Huston Township, according to the state police at Ridgway.
Shaffer allegedly set the first fire at 1 a.m. May 4 and the second one at 11 p.m. May 19. As a result of ongoing investigations into both fires, Shaffer was charged with intentionally setting them, state police said.
Neither injuries nor damage resulted from the fires. Charges for dangerous burning under the arson section of Pennsylvania Crime Code were filed in both cases through the district court, state police said.
