Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • Counterfeit money was reportedly passed at a business on South Second Street.
  • An incident of theft was reported to police, where a known person stole checks from a resident and cashed them at a local business.
  • An incident of harassment was reported by a Glen Richey resident, while a known person sent harassing text messages to a landline phone.
  • A suspicious male was reported on U.S. Route 322; however, police weren’t able to locate him.
  • Police were contacted about a runaway female juvenile.
  • Police were contacted about an incident of harassment that involved two, female juveniles.
  • An incident of disorderly conduct occurred at Edgewood.
  • An unconscious male was reported at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
  • Police were called to remove an unwanted female at Edgewood.
  • Speeding vehicles were reported to police.
  • Police arraigned a man on 21 counts of drug act violations. The charges stemmed from an incident last week at a local motel. The man is incarcerated at the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
  • Police checked the welfare of a bicyclist on the Rockton Mountain Highway; however, they were gone upon police arrival.
  • An incident of harassment was reported to police, and it was handled at the scene.
  • Police were called to a landlord/tenant dispute that turned into an incident of harassment and disorderly conduct. Police know the identity of a juvenile who fled the scene after being involved with the incident. The investigation is ongoing and charges are currently pending.
  • Police served a warrant for West Mifflin police, taking the individual into custody for firearms and drug charges. The individual was arraigned and incarcerated at the CCJ in lieu of $50,000 bail until transferred to Allegheny County.
