Police Report: Curwensville Borough

Custody issues were reported to police, and they contacted the individual who had the child and who is seeking emergency custody.
Police are investigating an alleged assault that took place at a Beech Street residence.
Following a traffic stop, a driver was cited for a vehicle code violation. In addition, a passenger was cited for underage consumption.
Police responded to a reported overdose at a Curwensville residence. Upon arrival of police and medical personnel, the patient refused treatment.
An incident of disorderly conduct occurred in the area of Anderson Street, where a man was knocking on residents’ doors and yelling.
State police were assisted with a burglar alarm at a Bonnie Court residence. Upon arrival police quickly determined the residence had caught fire and alerted the fire department. Police were assisted by the Curwensville Rescue Hose & Ladder Fire Department and Ambulance and the Clearfield Borough, Hyde, Grampian and Glen Richey fire departments. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal responded to the scene.
