Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • An incident of criminal mischief occurred along Poplar Avenue.
  • A mailbox was damaged along Flegal Road.
  • An incident of theft occurred at a residence on Park Avenue Extension.
  • A phone scam was reported to police. During the incidents, a male caller has targeted elderly residents by advising them that they’re delinquent on paying their electrical bill from Penelec. The resident is directed to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a gift card to send to the provided address. Police would like to remind residents not to provide any personal information over the telephone.
  • A motorist was assisted in the Hyde area.
  • Several juveniles were loitering in the Poplar Avenue and Race Street area.
  • All-terrain vehicles were reportedly being driven on the roadway in the Hillsdale area.
  • An illegal dumping was reported on the Baily Settlement Highway.
  • An incident of criminal mischief occurred in the Kerr Addition area, where someone spray-painted a residence.
  • Seven mailboxes were damaged in the areas of Flegal, Kennedy and Mount Joy roads. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact police.
  • Police handled an incident of disorderly conduct at the Economy Inn.
  • Clearfield Borough police were assisted in attempting to locate a missing boy.
  • A noise complaint occurred in Edgewood and police advised the individual responsible to keep it to a minimum.
