Obituary Notice: Victoria Karoleski

Victoria Karoleski, 88, a resident of Christ the King Manor, formerly of DuBois, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Born April 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Adamski) Dobinski. On April 23, 1949, she married Edward S. Karoleski.  He survives.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society.

She enjoyed being with her family.

She is survived by her children, David Karoleski and Donald Karoleski, both of DuBois, Linda Karoleski Ogorchock and her husband, Michael of Montgomery, TX and Kevin Karoleski and his wife, Laurie of St. Marys; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1 at the Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
