Bon Jovi to perform Feb. 23 at Bryce Jordan Center

UNIVERSITY PARK — Bon Jovi’s “Because We Can — The Tour” will come to the Bryce Jordan Center on Feb. 23. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 25.

Bon Jovi will play new songs from the upcoming album “What About Now,” to be released March 26 on Island Records. “What About Now” will include the first single “Because We Can” and as well as the Golden Globe Award nominated “Not Running Anymore,” an original song by Jon Bon Jovi for the new Lionsgate film “Stand Up Guys.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $19.50, $29.50, $49.50, $89.50 and $129.50 (plus service charges), and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, Ticketmaster Express at 866-448-7849 (automated only self-service line), at www.Ticketmaster.com and the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office at 814-865-5555. The band last visited Penn State in 2011, and has performed more than 2,700 concerts in more than 50 countries for more than 35 million fans. “Because We Can – The Tour” will make its way across the globe with dates in Europe, the Far East, Africa, Latin America and Australia.
