Wine Festival to be held Feb. 2

CLEARFIELD – The largest indoor wine festival is right around the corner. The sixth annual Groundhog Wine Trail Festival will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at the Expo II Building at the Clearfield County Fair Grounds.

The festival will be host to Allegheny Cellars, Flickerwood Wine Cellars, Winery at Wilcox, Laurel Mountain Winery, Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery, Oak Spring Winery, Walnut Hill Winery, Volant Mill Winery and Foxburg Wine Cellars.

Two sessions will be held from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Expo II Building.   Tickets must be purchased for a specific session.

Advance tickets are available from each winery for $15 or at the door the day of the event for $20.  A total of 1,000 tickets will be sold for each session.

Entertainment will be provided by Mama Corn, 14th Street Jazz Band and the Todd Young Quartet.

Designs, Muddy Run Bears, Nuttin But Nuts, Wise Chips, Kare & Cher Creations, Sweet Art Bakery, Penn Cheese, Winkler Gallery, Carriage House Creations, Pine Grove Personal Paintings, Pete’s Pepperino, Chocolate Madness, Little Dippers, Our Drinking Buddy, Clover Creek Cheese Cellar, Primitive Me, Adkins Collectibles, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Susquehanna River Art Center, Woollow, Gary’s Homemade Soaps and Mountain Extreme.
